Bloody Words 2009 was held in Ottawa this year for the second time in its history. This national/international fan and author conference had about 250 registered and many more stopped by for free author readings. Brenda Chapman was in charge of publicity and got great coverage from local media. She is pictured on a panel discussing favourite sleuths, with moderator Sue Pike and from left to right, C.B.
