· BC chapter members of the CWC will be part of this full-day book fair that’s part of Pacific Festival of the Book. Lou Allin will be present all day at the CWC booth to sell and sign her Belle Palmer series and participate in Open Mic readings from 10:30 to 11 am.

Ottawa, several of those deadly dames from the LADIES KILLING CIRCLE will be chatting about and reading from their books. Now’s your chance to catch up on your mystery reading with anthologies Fit to Die, Bone Dance, When Boomers Go Bad (all RENDEZVOUS), and Locked Up (Deadlock Press), all edited by SUE PIKE; books from the Inspector Green series (RENDEZVOUS) by BARBARA FRADKIN; books from the Hollis Grant series (RENDEZVOUS) by JOAN BOSWELL; and books from the Fiona Silk series, the Camilla McPhee series (both RENDEZVOUS), and the Charlotte Adams series (Berkley Prime Crime) by MARY JANE MAFFINI. Free admission.
On Tues, March 4, 7:30 p.m. at Casa Loma, 1 Austin Terrace in Toronto,
RICK BLECHTA, and Lyn Hamilton will be reading from and discussing their books. Lyn will be reading from The Chinese Amulet (Berkley Prime Crime), the final book in her Lara McClintock archaeological mystery series. Rick will be reading from his hot-off-the-press standalone musical thriller, A Case of You (RENDEZVOUS).
Tickets are $9 each for CWC members, $12 for others and must be reserved in advance by phoning Casa Loma, 416 923-1171, ext 205 or 215, or by email at operations@casaloma.org.

Books will be sold at the event, and the authors will be available to sign. There’ll be potables and refreshments for sale and someone in the audience will win our door prize, a bag of books donated by the publishers of the authors taking part in the reading series. Free parking at Casa Loma for this event.
